Kilmessan 1-08 Kildalkey 2-08

Kilmessan seconds bowed out of the Intermediate Hurling Championship at the semi final stage after this narrow defeat to Kildalkey in Dunganny.

The concession of two first half goals proved too much for the Darren Plevin and Paddy McGovern managed outfit. Kildalkey led at the break 2-5 to 0-4 and despite an improved second half display in dreadful conditions Kilmessan could not close the gap.
