And just like that the opening round of the Senior, Intermediate, Junior A (with the exception of two games tomorrow night) and the Junior B are complete. Clubs have been preparing for this day since the draw was made in late January.
The new rules have definitely improved the game with high scores all round. With the new interest generated by Meath’s great run to the all Ireland semi final there has been a noted increase of supporters going to the club games.
