St Brigids 0-12 St Ultans 0-13

Round seven of the Division 4 Football League saw St Ultans visit Ballinacree on Sunday morning.

St Brigids shaded the exchanges for the first fifteen minutes and led 0-05 to 0-02 when a gale force wind picked up and onto St Ultans backs and from there until halftime Ultans kicked four two pointers to lead at the break 0-10 to 0-05.

As luck would have it for Brigids the wind died down for the second period but we battled on and by the 60th minute we had the match on level terms at twelve points apiece but Ultans gained possession in the middle of the field following the restart from that score and worked their way up to score the winner in injury time.

Next up is Carnaross in Round eight at home in two weeks.
