St. Pats were too strong for Kilmessan’s third string in the Hurling League Division 5 encounter played at Stamullen.
The sides were level at the break 2-1 to 1-4, Jack Clynch getting the visitors goal.
Kevin O’Reilly got through for Kilmessan’s second goal and with ten minutes remaining three points separated the teams. The home side found another gear and posted 1-4 without replay to claim victory.
