Kilmessan 1-16 Dunboyne 1-9
Holders Kilmessan advanced to the Meath Under 21 Hurling Championship final with this seven point win over Dunboyne in Dunboyne.
A brace from Lorcan Byrne had last years winners in front in the early stages. Adam O’Neill increased the lead with a well worked goal and by the break Kilmessan had worked up a 1-11 to 0-2 lead.
The home side came more into the game in the second half and had narrowed the gap to four, 1-11 to 1-7. Finn Conroy settled Kilmessan with a point and three on the trot from Mark Horan made sure that the holders were heading back to the decider.
Kilmessan take on Trim in a repeat of last years final next Saturday.
