Kilbride 1-11 Nobber 2-7

Kilbride welcomed Nobber for round 2 of the league on a very windy and cold evening.

The home side started well securing scores with points from David O Leary, Finn White and a goal from Adam Malone. Nobber came back quickly and gained 2 quick goals, giving them the confidence to press on and secure more scores. Kilbride received a black card but continued to play well with 14 men and got to half time down by just 2 points, 2-4 to 1-5.

Nobber started the second half well increasing their lead. Kilbride unfortunately lost another to a black card but this speared the team on to dig deep. They went on to score some great points from David O leary and Brian Dignam and unlucky not to get 2 goals with great play from Adam Malone. With five minutes to go Nobber had their chances but Kilbride held out to win the game by 1 point giving them their 1st win of the league.
