Dunsany 1-10  St. Patricks 4-7

Dunsany Travelled to Stamullen on a glorious evening for football looking to continue their 100% start to the league.

The hosts started the brighter and got a fortunes goal to give them a cushion throughout the half. Dunsany kept in touch throughout  thanks to 2 points from Cathal Murphy and 1 from Eoin Harkin Leaving the score at the break 1-4 to 0-3.

Again after the restart ‘Pats started quickly and soon found the net once again  to leave it 2-4 to 0-3.

Dunsany to their immesnse credit showed great character and began to claw their way back into the game thanks to points from James Cahill. Conor Harkin, Eoin Harkin and Pierre Fox.

The visitots got to within a point the Stamullen men but then were it with another goal with 10 minutes remaining. ‘Pats added a further 1-2 in the closing stages as Dunsany pushed to get back in the game. Eoin Harkin added a consolation goal at the end to leave the final Score 4-7 to 1-10
