Mayo GAA could be about to develop a Centre of Excellence amid reports that it has been donated 40 acres of land in Bohola.
The Connaught Telegraph is reporting that an unnamed benefactor is donating the site for the purpose of developing a state-of-the-art training facility for all county teams. It would also result in Mayo GAA not proceeding with a smaller scale development in partnership with Castlebar Mitchels.
Mayo GAA is expected to make an official announcement regarding the development – which could cost up to €15 million – at its annual convention in December.
