Adare and Newcastlewest set for crunch Limerick SFC showdown

Adare will face holders Newcastlewest in the last four of the Limerick senior football championship race.
The sides have met in the last three finals in the Treaty County, with Newcastlewest winning all three as they remain on course for their eighth ever SFC triumph.
Adare booked their place in the semi-finals this afternoon thanks to comprehensive 0-10 to 0-1 win over Galtee Gaels in wet and windy conditions on Kilmallock.
A couple of Hugh Bourke frees helped the 2018 champions to lead by 0-2 to 0-1 at the halfway stage and the Limerick forward would add to his tally after the change of ends ahead of points from Ronan Connolly, Paul Maher and Davy Lyons sending Harry Gleeson’s side on their way to the semis.
