Limerick’s five-in-a-row prospects have received a huge boost with the news that Kyle Hayes will be available for selection.
The five-time All-Ireland SHC winner was handed a two-year suspended sentence and ordered to pay €10,000 compensation for violent disorder yesterday.
Hayes’ only appearance for John Kiely’s side so far this year came against Dublin in Round 3 of the Allianz Hurling League last month. It remains to be seen if he will feature in this weekend’s semi-final against Kilkenny.
