Limerick manager John Kiely has suffered a huge blow with the news that his All-Star defender Sean Finn has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury.
Finn suffered the injury late in the first-half of the All-Ireland champions’ loss to Limerick last Saturday night at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
There had been concerns over the corner-back’s injury afterwards and last night (Thursday) Limerick GAA confirmed that the four-time All-Ireland winner’s season is over.
The Treaty men are up against Tipperary in the third round of the Munster SHC round-robin series on Sunday fortnight, May 21st, having already booked a win and loss so far in the southern province.
