David Ward is the only change in Limerick's starting 15 for Sunday's Allianz FL clash against Carlow at the Gaelic Grounds.

The Fr Casey's clubman will fill one of the midfield berths as he indirectly replaces Padraig Scanlon, who was forced off injured at half-time in last Saturday's opening round nine-point defeat away to Laois.

Manager Billy Lee has made a number of positional switches to his side with David Connolly, who was one of two starting debutants for last weekend's trip to Portlaoise, moving from corner-back to wing-forward.

Limerick (Allianz FL v Carlow): Donal O'Sullivan; Gareth Noonan, Sean O'Dea, Brian Fanning; Daniel Daly, Paul White, Jim Liston; Darragh Treacy, David Ward; David Connolly, Cillian Fahy, Tony McCarthy; Peter Nash, Danny Neville, Jamie Lee.

Subs: James Brouder, Shane Doherty, Edward Sheehy, Colm McSweeney, Tommy Griffin, Seamus O'Carroll, Robbie Bourke, Sean McSweeney, Padraig De Brun, Kieran Daly, Padraig Scanlon.
