Kildare remain on course for an immediate return to Division 2 after recording a fourth consecutive Allianz Football League win by seeing off Laois in Newbridge this evening.

It finished 0-21 to 0-9 at Cedral St Conleth's Park, where the hosts hit five unanswered points in the opening five minutes to assume control of the derby.

Brian Flanagan’s men would eventually lead by 11 points at the interval and scores from Darragh Swords, Cathal Hagney, Brian McLoughlin and Kevin Feely in the second-half cruised them towards a comfortable 12-point victory.

Earlier today, Antrim crushed strugglers Leitrim by 4-16 to 1-11 at Corrigan Park to pick up their second win in Division 3.

The Saffrons bagged all four of their goals in the first-half via Marc Jordan, Niall Burns, Dominic McEnhill (penalty) and Fionn Nagle to move towards an unassailable 4-7 to 0-6 half-time lead before going on to win by 14 points.
