Dublin and Kildare will contest the Leinster U20FC final at Netwatch Cullen Park next Tuesday at 7.30pm.

The pairing was confirmed following their respective semi-final wins over Meath and Laois last evening. At Páirc Tailteann, a dominant second half display propelled Dublin to a 0-14 to 0-10 victory over Meath and to a 10th successive provincial final appearance at U20 / U21 level.

Backboned by players from their successful 2020 and '21 minor teams, the wind-assisted Royals led by 0-6 to 0-5 after 25 minutes with captain Eoghan Frayne contributing 0-3. But the visitors finished the half strongly to take a 0-8 to 0-6 advantage into the break.

Despite injuries to Eoghan O'Connor-Flanagan and Luke Breathnach, the momentum remained with Jim Lehane's charges after the restart. Ross Keogh and Joe Quigley finished with 0-8 between them as they won comfortably in the end.

Beaten by Westmeath in their opening game, holders Kildare look to have got their mojo back after hammering Laois 1-20 to 0-9 at Laois Hire O'Moore Park.

Carbury's Eoin Cully scored 1-6, including a fortuitous 44th minute goal, as the Lilywhites won at their ease. Ryan Sinkey, Shane Farrell and Adam Fanning also scored 0-3 each for the winners who led by 0-9 to 0-4 at the break.
