Galway and Kilkenny will contest the Leinster MHC final on Friday week following their respective semi-final wins over Dublin and Wexford yesterday.

Competing in the Leinster MHC for the first time, Galway maintained their sparkling form with a 3-22 to 0-13 drubbing of Dublin at Glenisk O'Connor Park. It was all over bar the shouting at half-time when the Tribesmen held an unassailable 2-16 to 0-3 lead thanks to goals from Jason Rabbitte - son of former senior star Joe - and Mikey Fallon along with nine points from Aaron Niland.

Fallon added a third goal with seven minutes remaining to complete the rout.

Things were a lot tighter at UPMC Nowlan Park where Kilkenny held on for a 1-18 to 0-17 victory over Wexford.

A Brian Moore goal helped the Cats to a 1-8 to 0-5 interval lead. When Greg Kelly scored one of his five points to extend the advantage to seven, a comfortable Kilkenny victory looked to be on the cards, but Wexford rallied and brought it back to within a point before late scores from substitutes James O'Neill and Robbie Doherty got the hosts across the line.
