The Kildare senior football championship semi-finals are set following this weekend’s results in the Dermot Bourke Cup race.
Reigning champions Naas will face Athy in the last four after an emphatic 3-19 to 0-7 win over Johnstownbridge earlier today, with Mark Maguire, Brian Kane and Fintan Quinn bagging the goals in the second-half for the holders.
Athy booked their place into the semis thanks to a 3-15 to 1-13 win against Raheens yesterday, while Celbridge's 1-15 to 0-7 triumph over Clane now sees them into the last four against Sarsfields.
Sarsfields edged out Moorefield by 1-9 to 0-11 in an airtight encounter this evening to complete the competition’s semi-final lineup.
