Pat O’Shea has reprised his role as Dr Crokes senior football manager for a third time.
The former Kerry boss won an All-Ireland Club SFC medal as a player in 1992 before repeating the feat as manager of the famous Killarney club in 2017. In his first spell as Crokes manager, he them to the 2006 All-Ireland Club SFC final which they lost to Crossmaglen Rangers after a replay. He then took over Kerry and guided them to Sam Maguire glory in 2007.
Crokes failed to reach the knockout stages of last year’s Kerry SFC, but did have the consolation of completing a three-in-a-row of O’Donoghue Cups. O’Shea will be assisted by Andrew Kennelly, Niall O’Callaghan, Denis Coleman and Connie Murphy.
