Kerry legends to line out in charity match

A charity match between Kerry GAA and soccer greats is taking place on Friday evening (7pm).

The match is in aid of four-year-old Alex Fitzgerald from Tralee, who is battling cancer. Alex has received intensive treatment since last September and will need a bone-marrow transplant in the future.

The game at Mounthawk Park will see former Kerry GAA stars like Maurice Fitzgerald, Darran O’Sullivan, Barry John Keane, Aidan O’Mahony and Seamus Scanlan line out against local soccer legends such as Billy Dennehy, Steven O’Mahony, Chris Kerins, James Sugrue and Steven and David Conway.

Tickets are on sale at www.kerryfc.com/tickets Adults are priced at €10, while admission is €5 for children.
