Galway are on the verge of being knocked out of this year's All-Ireland SHC as they trail Waterford by 12 points at half-time in this afternoon's qualifier match at Semple Stadium, 1-18 to 0-9.
Looking to put things right following their out-of-sorts performance in the Leinster semi-final against Dublin, Shane O'Neill's side failed abysmally to come close to matching an impressive Waterford outfit, who were aided by Jack Fagan's 31st minute goal.
