Replying To puckemhard:  "Saturday was a brilliant game , and no offence to Clarinbridge , but I think most neutrals have loved the Tommy Larkins fairytale this year. Crowd was good and the weather added to it . But I think people really over think some of these decisions of Double headers etc .People give out if its a double header in Gort, give out if its not in Kenny Park , just enjoy the games . The streams have added value to all the games for people who cant make them , and its obviously added to the County Boards revenue which is a good thing for us all. Lets hope the weather holds for two weeks time and we see a brilliant game."
Best post I've seen on here in a long time. Couldn't agree any more!!

Did Loughrea have any players come on the last day that played Reeves cup on Friday night? Just curious as Katser reckoned it was an advantage for Loughrea over Tommy Larkins with the fixture schedule.

And, probably uniquely, 2 north Galway clubs contesting a county hurling final - Sylane v Abbeyknockmoy in Premier Junior. The curtain-raiser to the Senior final.

No doubt katser? What have you against Kilconieron? I am a neutral and would like to see Kilconieron win. I would like to see Tommies win alright as it is a bit of a fairytale story

No one is falling for that one:) Loughrea definitely slight favorites but I give Tommies a great chance.

In fairness to Loughrea by beating Clarinbridge, Turlough and St Thomases in the knock out stages last year it was the toughest path to winning a County title I can remember. Will it be bettered by Larkins this year if they end up County Champions having already taken care of Turlough and Clarinbridge?

Turlough & Clarinbridge with all the hype find a way to let their supportes down. Turlough have gone well back to the pack. Calrinbridge will continue to knock on the door with their young team & underage success but they need to find the bottle to get over the line in a close game down the championship stretch

Both semi's drew huge crowds, Saturday was a hum finger.
Sunday more an arm wrestle with Loughrea getting the bounce from subs.
They will be delighted as the lads thst were injured and back have another 2 weeks.
Everyone will cheer on Tommie's , but Loughrea are very street smart on the pitch and on the line. Just hope weather is ok and we get a cracker.
