Wouldn't write them off completely with the quality they have but I'd have serious doubts about their ability to get the job done in the big pressure games. In previous years they haven't been able to get it done , if they are still standing after this weekend they will be doing well in my opinion. Is it because you are from there and have happy memories of the place thanks? Or is there a specific reason why you prefer mohill over Carrick or Kinlough or Manorhamilton please? Wouldn't agree at all to be honest Fenagh have had several opportunities over the last couple years with a big hype train behind them and failed to deliver when it matters most don't see how this year is going to be any different. Predictions for this weekend Senior Fenagh v St Mary's Both teams produced their best performance last weekend. This could go to extra time. Mary's by 1 Ballinamore v Allen Gaels Ballinamore are huge favourites with the bookies 1/10. I don't think that's fair. Both teams are missing players, but Ballinamore has the stronger overall squad and should scrap it. Ballinamore by 4 Intermediate Aughavas v Melvin Gaels All the talk, even on the National papers, has been about Melvin Gaels' new manager. I don't know what the reason for the change was. It's a strange one, as Melvin Gaels was doing well. Aughavas have had a good championship to date and have been lucky with injuries. The long trip and small pitch will not benefit Melvin Gaels. Aughavas by 3 Bornacoola v Dromahair Bornacoola must win and hope Drumkeerin loses to Annaduff. Bornacoola is close to full strength and will be a challenge to the already qualified Dromahair. Bornacoola by 2 Drumkeerin v Annaduff Two poor defeats in a row have put Drumkeerin in a precarious situation. They will be hoping that Gortletteragh and Dromahair will do them a favour. Otherwise, they will need to win here. Annaduff is now strong favourites for the Intermediate Championship and is close to full strength. They should be too strong. Annaduff by 6 Carrigallen v Gortletteragh I fancied Gortletteragh for the Intermediate Championship, but they are besiged with injuries. Gortletteragh's defence, which was superb throughout the league, is now their achiles heel. Carrigallen's weakness is their forwards, which are only averaging 11 points a game. A loss for either team will have them facing into a difficult relegation final. Well done to fenagh beating marys to book a semi final spot. Looks like their coming in to gear at the right time. Callum Andrews in sticks was great find I wonder if he could play for poacher or if he will go back to the soccer. I was in Carrigallen on business yesterday and got delayed with very heavy traffic in Cloone so only caught the last 20 mins of the Fenagh Carrick game. Fenagh never looked under pressure at all during this time and Carrick were very listless, couldn't break through the strong Fenagh defence, going back and forth around the arc but ultimately going nowhere. ohwow (Leitrim) - Posts: 323 - 13/09/2026 10:51:50 2693664 Link
