Excuse by confusion/ignorance.
I presume the senior and intermediate championship works the same way.
It's the intermediate I'm more interested in.

Can you tells how exactly it works

Why is no one talking about the demolition in Eslin yesterday?
The Duffers beat the Bors by 29 points, that along with their 1st team cruising they seem to be in a great place for the Intermediate this year!!!

Pearses and Boyle in Roscommon would harbour real ambitions too. Oran and Ros Gaels might be chasing too. Real top notch stuff. Remember Brigid's haven't huge reserves so any injuries maybe precarious. Love to all.

St Brigids havent huge reserves. Is this a joke? They have had something like 13 players involved in Roscommon senior football panels in the past couple of years. They played virtually all of the Division 1 league without their county contingent this year which was 8 players and still got to a league final. And actually won the Division 1 league final last year. They have 6 or 7 subs that would make any other senior team in the county. I do agree that Pearses and Boyle will give them plenty of it in the knockouts and Brigids winning Roscommon isn't a foregone conclusion by any means but they have more than enough reserves to cope with injuries. Eddie Nolan and Shane Cunnane, two inter county midfielders didnt feature yet (Cunnane for 4 minutes in one game) and they still didn't need to get out of first gear.

You're ignoring the list of injuries suffered by Allen Gaels so I wouldn't dismiss them. The objective was to stay in Senior ranks which they will.it was always going to be a tough ask in the Championship & the win over Fenagh was well deserved against a very good team.

Says more about the state of play with some clubs reserve teams, Glenfarrne and Aughawillian received similar hammerings. Could be a lot more 1 teams clubs in 5 or 10 years time, or possibly a few less clubs as well. The beatings were doled out by Mary's, Manor and the Duff who, unsurprisingly, are consistently strong in underage, going it alone and bringing young lads through to adult every year, I'm told some smaller clubs get no new players from underage most years

Does anyone know anything on this?? As a Ballybay man I would be extremely disappointed to see these two boys leave. They are up there with Drew Wylie and Paul Finlay as Ballybay greats.

We could do a swap deal two Mcguiness brothers for Shane Moran??

Heard Shanes a tasty footballer and would help push Ballybay back up to senior where they belong!!!

Word on the street is the Duff have 17 -18 young lads coming up from minor this year so they wont be lacking in numbers either, they seem to be going in the right direction!
