The 2010s was a non vintage decade. 03-09 was the last great era. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 10028 - 28/07/2026 18:13:00 2687874 Link 0 |

6 in a row never be done again. Teams will struggle even to do back to back as Kerry proved this year.

98 to 01 was the last great era. Before that it was 64 to 66.

Don't agree but if you think so surely there were other "non vintage" eras for teams to go 5 or 6, but I suppose Ciarraigh were unlucky to come up against the "generational one in a row" Offaly teaming '82?

Went into transition after the 2010 quarter final. To get back to the final in 2015 says a lot about the 2010s. Non vintage.

The current Kerry team are to one dimensional, everything is telegraphed to Clifford, Kerry and he have lost more finals then they and will win because of their reliance. TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4540 - 28/07/2026 22:59:22 2687922 Link 1 |

You're way off with that statement. Football in the 20 teens wasn't football compared to the 00s or the present day football. How many of that Dublin team would get on a top team of today or back in the 00s? They couldn't even kick points from outside the 21 yard line. They handpassed their way into the square. Not blaming Dublin, teams let them do it and the more they won the more scared other teams got.

Tyrone 03-09 and Kerry 04-09 were great teams. Kerry 21-26 are not a great team. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 10028 - 29/07/2026 09:35:53 2687943 Link 3 |
