Kobe is a joy to watch. Don't think Clifford even was that influential at his age richiepmurphy (Kilkenny) - Posts: 138 - 12/07/2026 12:01:06 2685372 Link 0 |

Moran was fairly tetchy in that press conference. Understand that's not the question you want to hear after getting to an AI final, but to say your county has been starved the past four or five years - starved how? Of All-Ireland finals? Of Connacht finals? There's many counties that haven't been in All-Ireland finals for decades, or haven't won their provincial in ages. That's what being starved is. But he's right. The pundits tipped Meath. The pundits tipped Louth and if Kerry win today absolutely nobody will think Mayo have a chance so supporters will have no impact on team preparation.

Delighted Andy gave it to the media and their bull narrative after every Mayo win. Now it's the hype. The standard of journalism is cat.

lol you and many others Was cheering on Louth and that balloon badly burst. Hard to know who to choose now. Can't help the fact Kobe only has one crack at this before Australia is actually freeing him and Mayo. There is no tomorrow and that can be a great perspective to take for victory. shaggykev (Donegal) - Posts: 507 - 12/07/2026 15:23:47 2685402 Link 0 |

Dublin 3 up at the time of posting, dominating the game against a kerry team looking increasingly disheartened (as they often do when things go against them) Seniorleague (Galway) - Posts: 154 - 12/07/2026 17:06:16 2685416 Link 0 |

If Mayo had the chances Dublin had today, they'll beat Kerry in the final. shaggykev (Donegal) - Posts: 507 - 12/07/2026 17:53:38 2685424 Link 0 |

The 'hot favourites tag given to kerry' was to win the game, which they did. A game of football lasts 70 minutes, during which there can be many ups and downs for both teams. But nothing matters or counts, but the final score. Not the score after 40 minutes (Dublin 3 up at the time of posting, dominating the game against a kerry team looking increasingly disheartened). Absolutely. Kerry won the game which means all the predictions beforehand of a facile win have been totally vindicated. Seniorleague (Galway) - Posts: 154 - 12/07/2026 18:25:58 2685434 Link 0 |

A real lucky win for Kerry as they were against Tyrone also. Mayo every right to fancy themselves and honour the 25th anniversary of the last Connacht success. Drax_the_destroyer (UK) - Posts: 934 - 12/07/2026 18:41:30 2685437 Link 0 |

How was the hot favourites tag for Kerry ridiculous? Kerry were the hot favourites and rightly so. JimB1991 (Donegal) - Posts: 231 - 12/07/2026 18:51:31 2685443 Link 0 |

Doubt they'll get those chances. Lack of efficiency in front of goal has been a problem for Dublin all season.
