Last time and I think only time we played Clare in an AI semi final was 2013 which was fairly traumatic.
After hammering Cork in the Munster final we went in on a high but never showed up on the day; Hannon missed a rake of frees

We are responsible for standards in our county and province not theirs.
Remember that its the Munster Round Robin that makes us strong. It doesnt transfer automatically elsewhere. Our minors benefited greatly from the Munster RR this season. Why would we mess with that?"
My suggestion wasn't to get rid of Munster championship, it was to enlarge it by putting every team in 1 group and playing each other every year. Wexford going to Limerick, Tipp heading to Salthill,KK going to Ennis, Cork going to Parnell Park would revitalise the whole championship and we'd still have all the Munster round robin games. We'd still have a Munster and Leinster final and a rising tide would lift all boats Tadhg.

With Caroline Currid on board this could be cricket score for Limerick Sunday. None of the Clare players would make Limerick panel. O'Donnell, Kelly and Rogers overrated.

I disagree,

Limerick and Clare games take on a life of their own especially when its Knockout, all known form and logic goes out the window when the ball is thrown in. Limerick will always believe they can beat Clare and equally Clare will always believe they can turn over Limerick.

I think few would agree that "Tony Kelly is overrated" and he always plays well against Limerick. Similarly Shane O'Donnell is still one of the most dangerous forwards in the game.

This game could become a dogfight

You like stirring the pot Tommy. In some of the games between Limerick in their pomp and Clare, Tony Kelly was arguably the best player on the pitch. He's probably a bit past his peak, but still very capable of top performances.

There seems to be quite a few troll accounts on the forum that post infrequently, and one or two frequently, on both codes. Me thinks its the work of one man. He seems to have different names for different counties but the posts are generally consistent.

Some one definitely trying to stir..the majority of limerick people are worried playing Clare..if both teams turn up and play as they can I'd give limerick the vote..
If limerick are off and Clare are at their best then a Clare win is a strong possibility..if people are honest Kelly and o Donnell have usually caused big difficulty on big days..
Hoping for a win Sunday but I'm expecting a really tight game

Interesting timing fot Shane O Donnell to announce his pending retirement. Me thinks hes trying to rouse the troops. Limerick need to be on it from the start. We need to be very disciplined and focused and just get the job done.

With his pace, energy and skill he is some man to bring on with 20 to go and defenders are tiring
(The only other thing I would say is English was picked to start v Cork in the Munster final with O Brien in the subs but then they switched before throw in so who knows?)

Well hope everyone has a brilliant day and gets there and back safely. It's amazing but I think yesterday's result will give clare even more drive to go after us today. I do think this this will be a lot more like '22 and '23 munster finals. I hope we will keep toe to toe and push on in the end but anything is possible in a knockout game.
I don't know until I see both teams on throw in I don't think I'll believe it. Cathail for example I hope he's fit but somehow i don't see it happening. Also Conlon not starting, I doubt that.
Anyway let's hope it's a cracker and we're here talking about what we're going to do against galways approach

Best of luck to everyone involved today..hopefully result goes our way but after yesterday I'm extremely nervous..
I'll be shocked if Clare start the team named and I think cahal will start..won't be surprised either if English comes in..
I'll take a 1 point win now..

Cork are gone lad. Will be Galway. When past time Galway and Limerick were final pairing?
