Is there no animosity or bit of needle with Armagh being a neighbour up around border?!

I think it's a safe to say now that we can mix it with any top team in the country having passed the ultimate test going toe to toe with Armagh in a stunning win well done and roll on the Q/F.

Delighted for all the boys. Their hard work has given us some great days out. Thankfully on the right end of the result today. So many times we were on the other end of a last minute goal. Very proud of these boys!!!!

Excellent stuff from Louth today.

I remember Leitrim beating Louth in Division 3 of the League in the last game prior to Covid Lockdown in 2020. The strides ye have made on the field, off the field and at underage since are the example every Div 3-4 team should be following.

Best of luck in the Q/F's - ye should rightly fear nobody.

What a win, knew we could do it in Fortress Inishkeen. Great to see it televised from there, practically Louth, and thank you Monaghan GAA and Inishkeen Grattans. A very important victory for Louth. We went at them and it worked. This is a great Louth team playing with confidence as Armagh brought it and are no slouches. An Lu Abu

Fantastic result. Congrats to all concerned.on the Louth side and to Inniskeen Grattins for the efficient arrangements. Pity the Sunday Game negative comictators from the South couldn'n see the clock. For their information it was under the score board.

The 4 guaranteed quarter finalists this year are Louth, Tyrone , Cork and Galway. The four semi-finalists in the 1957 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship were Louth, Tyrone, Cork, and Galway. Very interesting fact :)

I think we would all be happy if the semi finals, final and result are repeated this year. Our survivors,Sean Og Flood, Patsy Coleman and Frank Lynch would really enjoy it. What are the odds?

Ah these are such special times. Sunday was even better than the Leinster. The bond that this team has created with supporters. Their honesty,, humility and decency. The scenes at the end - we could only dream about in the depressing days in Division 4. Watching many loyal supporters with their hearts breaking with joy, dancing in the summer sun under Shancoduff. Eternally grateful to this incredible band of heroes for the journey they are sharing with us. Finally, to the gracious people of Inis Caoin, ye have been a credit in your hosting of us. Your good humour and help have helped make these days special. Your soil will never more, be stoney and grey but fertile and endlessly bright for us!!
