Excellent stuff from Louth today.

I remember Leitrim beating Louth in Division 3 of the League in the last game prior to Covid Lockdown in 2020. The strides ye have made on the field, off the field and at underage since are the example every Div 3-4 team should be following.

The 4 guaranteed quarter finalists this year are Louth, Tyrone , Cork and Galway. The four semi-finalists in the 1957 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship were Louth, Tyrone, Cork, and Galway. Very interesting fact :)

Ah these are such special times. Sunday was even better than the Leinster. The bond that this team has created with supporters. Their honesty,, humility and decency. The scenes at the end - we could only dream about in the depressing days in Division 4. Watching many loyal supporters with their hearts breaking with joy, dancing in the summer sun under Shancoduff.
