Galway... The most consistent at being inconsistent....

Didn't see Limerick playing today, strange as I thought if there's a final that Limerick are nearly always their.

Just a cliche that really. Clare were superior to all the Leinster u20 sides this year. That's all we saw yesterday, nothing to do with Galway's 'inconsistency'. Why would a bunch of u20 young lads, from Galway specifically, suffer from 'inconsistency' in their performance? It's just a stupid daft cliché. How did they win Leinster, if they're 'inconsistent'? They won it because the standard was low enough for them to win it. Clare in contrast, were of a standard that Galway weren't capable of matching yesterday, and 3 years ago also at the minor final with subsets of yesterday's players on both sides. Seems like a fairly consistent formline there to me.

They either underperformed or were over hyped. There were a lot of very confident lads over on the Galway hurling thread. They clearly felt that they were a very good team. The wexford lads here seemed to be of a similar opinion on their thread. I dont know what the betting odds were but the media articles I read in the build up were tipping Galway too. Clare won 2 of their Munster round robin games by 1 point, another by 3 and were well beaten by Cork in their 4th. They reversed that in the semi final and won Munster on penalties. It definitely stood to them.

Would you rather that we said that they had us bet before throw-in then and that we should just forfeit to the great Munster Championship teams like how all Munster teams would like it.

Just 2 options you say in line1? There are more possibilities. What is this 'hype' you speak of? Is there some sort of metrology institute or organisation out there that validates this 'hype' into something quantifiable and real, so that we can all have a look at verified metrics on the subject matter, as opposed to just notions wafting about in your head?
