Replying To Gantric:  "I watched the final yesterday with some very shrewd Leitrim football men and we were not really impressed with either team,was exciting but the quality wasn't really there from either team, Galway ave gone backwards since they scrapped over the line to beat us. We then put together a Connacht team from the championship to date and ended up with 8 from Leitrim, 4 from Galway, 2 from Roscommon and 1 from Mayo. Its probably a fair reflection of the state of each team in the province.

Expecting a huge Leitrim crowd in Newry at the weekend, we will surely bring 10-12 thousand at least."
Yes some very shrewd football people alright if you picked 8 Leitrim and 2 Roscommon players on your best team. Are you sure ye were watching the right matches or were they all Leitrim club games??

How are we fixed for the weekend? Hopefully no new injuries since Galway game, really looking forward to the game, Newry is a tight ground.
