Replying To ohwow:  "Anyway moving on, predictions for the weekend

Galway v Leitrim - hard to see anything but a Galway win here but a creditable performance by Leitrim to keep it within six points would be an excellent result...Galway by 8

Mayo v Roscomnom - I will be in Castlebar on business Sunday and hope to get into the last 15 mins of this game in time to see Mayo finishing this one out comfortably...Mayo by 10"
More chance I'd say of the Bishop throwing the ball in than you in Castlebar on Sunday and I bet you weren't in attendance to see Leitrim pull off a famous win against Sligo.

Replying To 3rdmidfielder:  "Agreed.

This was a great place to discuss Leitrim football, but there is a serious amount of nonsense on it now.

Anyway Im hoping for a good performance on Saturday, Galway are a different animal to anything we faced in a long time. Leitrim Abù."
Indeed, I think some of the bucks on this page actually need some help... the help needed is up for debate....

Anyhow moving on, it's going to be a nice sunny day in Carrick on Saturday and my fear is that we'll run out of puff and Galway will just run through us so any tactics will have to take this into account. Not expecting a win... anything under 10 would be a good result to take into the Tailteann and learnings for 2027.

Replying To hontherossie:  "As a rossie living in carrick. I have the same concerns about how long its taking to dig a basic trench along a road. I am now starting to wonder, is this a tactic deployed by poacher to stop the galway bus getting into the pitch."
It's probably just roadworks in fairness
