No doubt kerry were off colour yesterday for whatever reason?, but that's their business. totalrecall (Leitrim) - Posts: 1202 - 30/03/2026 12:29:16 2663943 Link 0 |

A few ghosts banished yesterday for both players and supporters. Really excellent performance against a flat Kerry side who actually started well and looked to come out at the start of the second half with the bit between their teeth but the quick fire goals put paid to that. Big performances all over the field, Langan was imperious. Jason again fantastic like having a new player and in the form of his life. Conor O'Donnell gave Foley a torrid time and gave Murphy more freedom. Brilliant performances from McColgan who didn't give Clifford an inch plus Max Campbell who was fantastic. Mulreaney had another very good day and of course Michael Murphy looked incredible put goes without saying should've seen red. I didn't see the incident clearly either even though the media are claiming it was just Jim and Gough who missed it. Given the players who were out hard to read too much into the game but what it does do is heal any psychological effects for the players after last July. If we meet later in the year they will go out with full belief which might not have been the case a couple of months ago. Another exciting summer ahead. Congrats to all the squad and management especially Murphy and Jim who have the full set bar under 21 and minor. Prepare for an absolute blockbuster if these two sides meet later in the summer with it all on the line. Looking forward now to Wednesday and the under twenties who have built nicely after getting out of jail against Fermanagh though my jaw hit the floor when I seen the score Derry put up against the same opposition at the weekend. panamasam (Australia) - Posts: 2918 - 30/03/2026 12:55:15 2663947 Link 2 |

I replied to the wrong person. But anyway, Murphy hasn't always been at that. eddieSize5Balls (Donegal) - Posts: 326 - 30/03/2026 16:44:43 2663988 Link 0 |
