It would be the shock of the century of Wexford were to beat Louth who are reigning Leinster champions, and are absolutely flying at the moment. Being 'not that far off them' a couple of years ago counts for absolutely nothing. Louth just keep on getting better.

It would be a huge shock for sure, but anything is possible in real Championship. Knockout.

Rushie is back! The big man has returned to the panel for the championship. He was key part of Na Fianna winning Ireland and will be interesting to see where he might be tried if he gets a start. BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 4102 - 24/03/2026 12:15:34 2662820 Link 0 |

Problem will be staying up next year. Hopefully we will have the lads back who missed all of this year with injury or recovering from injury back fully fit, we will need them all if we are to be competitive in div2.

Will he start though? Now I'm a great believer in the lack of need for 3-4 months pre-season at 35 years old especially but is he more likely to be an impact sub than a starter? He is a great option in backs or forwards. I'm really confident for the year ahead and believe we can win Leinster and give a redemption for the semi final last year. Not saying I think we will win All-Ireland but we are better than the semi last year. ExiledInWex (Dublin) - Posts: 1573 - 24/03/2026 16:30:44 2662908 Link 0 |
