Exactly. So he's already experimenting, evolving his tactics. Yet all these headlines are saying "will McGuinness stick to his guns?" portraying him as stubborn and stuck in his ways. A lot of stupid clickbait and lazy analyses.

What's going on the season tickets for tomorrow? The confirmation emails before Christmas had confirmed seats, but when I uploaded to my iphone wallet the tics now seem GA. dessieman (Donegal) - Posts: 5 - 31/01/2026 19:31:49 2654183 Link 0 |

Sure theres only about 200 seats. And we have about 3000 season tickets. So first come first served.

Never in all the years of season tickets, even in the quieter years, have I ever got a seat in ballyshannon. League is always GA except croker and this year, the athletic grounds.

It's a disgrace we even play games in ballyshannon which doesn't have the seating requirements eunans4ever (Donegal) - Posts: 1710 - 01/02/2026 10:22:14 2654262 Link 0 |

Good win but pity Kerry were missing some of their stars. eddieSize5Balls (Donegal) - Posts: 276 - 01/02/2026 15:12:12 2654302 Link 0 |

Choices are limited. Suppose we should play every game in letterkenny?

Sure , everyone benefits from them but every team benefits from every rule. Kerry were terrible today and Seamus's 2 point frees were the only reason it was close. Worked for us too last year against Tyrone. We were terrible but 4-5 2 point frees kept us in a game we had no right being in.

Pleasing win and some parts of the donegal performance were very good. Not really concerned with kerry 15, thats their business . 4 points in the board now and motoring along nicely. Seems to be a question of who's going to be joining monaghan in division 2 next year even at this early stage. A team could go down with 7 again this year. totalrecall (Leitrim) - Posts: 1179 - 01/02/2026 17:45:21 2654358 Link 0 |

I thought Mulreaney played well. His kickouts were on the money, I was behind the goal in first half and he hit some beautiful kickouts compared to his counterpart who was hitting and hoping.

Agree, thought it was his best performance to date. The issue in the second half was when Kieran Gallagher was replaced , made a couple of good fetches in first half and donegal missed his size and physique in the middle third.

Good win today for Donegal. Two excellent results against the game's aristocrats. I will say, however, Kerry were as light as they could possibly be... and you'd have expected a bigger spread from Donegal, but its league and the results are all that matters. A game of two halves much like last week. Again an excellent first half but nowhere near those levels in the second. However 4 points after 2 games and it's nearly a case of job done. I imagine the target much like last year is to get to 6 as soon as possible and start experimenting once Division 1 status has nearly been established. Contributions from all over the field and good to see some of the young squad members get a run out towards the end. Also good to see Murphy and Gallen back. I thought Mogan in particular was excellent if picking one out. Some laughable headlines already on the click based media using the word "revenge". It's the first day in February playing a Kerry team down the 3 players who done much of the damage against us last year in the 2 Cliffords and Gavin White plus other players to come into the reckoning including Paul Geaney. panamasam (Australia) - Posts: 2908 - 01/02/2026 19:38:55 2654414 Link 3 |

Donegal nearly af full strength to day and Kerry with just about half first team. It's a young man's game now especially the middle eight, donegal need to stick with younger players , no place for over 30s apart from maybe goalkeeper and just maybe a full forward that stayes around the square. jacktheboy (Donegal) - Posts: 528 - 01/02/2026 19:45:27 2654419 Link 0 |
