Clubber

Just said id start the discussion on clubber lads what a fantastic service they are. I've watched several games already this year and it only costs 150 for the year which is good in my opinion given the amount of matches they show. My question is why dont the GAA let them show league and championship games which are not been shown on tv? The arguement of less people will attend games is just not true in my opinion

It's a terrific service, but it is 100% resulting in less people going to games at the local championship level, and would be the same for lesser league and championship games too. That will increase as quality of clubber improves. I expect Croker is conflicted on whether to feed the beast or actively restrict it.

There's the issue of who has purchased TV rights, surely you know this?

Got a gift of it at Christmas. Its good for what it is, but would I pay €150 out of my own pocket for it? Not so sure.
I don't have that much time to watch local GAA on it, but my sons will. Maybe the present was for them.

Whilst it great if you want other clubs championships, here in cork we had a streaming service called Rebels Online and was only 69.99. This year cork sold the rights to clubber so my cost would have more than double so decided against it
