Great seeing a Wexford team winning, best provincial final so far.

Terrific performance from the Martins' in what was an absolutely fantastic game of hurling, no quarter asked or given by either side, thought the Martins' had the edge in general play but Ballyhale just always had that threat of a knock-out punch with their ability to go long and win high ball near the Martins' goal

Martins' have the ability to win it all but I suppose the other three teams left are the same too, Ballygunner and Slaughtneil both have huge amounts of experience as well, would say Ballygunner are probably favourites at this stage but they're far from a certainty, could be some very tight games in store

Great win for the Wexford boys. No mater where it goes from here they are Leinster champs.

Yes for sure. Hoping for our representatives but no begrudgary towards the Wexford lads. Fancied them so far. There is something about the way they play is capable of toppling anyone. Fierce committment and their best players play like their best players every time out. A big challenge up for the gunners.

Difficult one to call.
The Martins are playing out of their skin right now.
The O'connor's are on fire and the whole team are playing as if their lives depended on it.
The win against Ballyhale has projected them to new heights and not like Wexford club teams in the time after Oulart will not cave in.
This is a massive game for them and the whole county.
Ballygunner are a brilliant team. Very strong defensively and they move the ball fast and accurately. They have six scoring forwards who will cause havoc if allowed.
The one thing that I worry about is the Martins lack in scoring goals. This may be crucial on Saturday and hopefully the net will bulge a few times in our favour.
As I said at the start of this post it's hard to predict but reluctantly I am giving the nod to Ballygunner.
However the Martins won't lie down and will fight to the very end and wouldn't it be fantastic for a Wexford club to be in an all ireland final.
Verdict-- Ballygunner to win by 3 points
( I sincerely hope I am very wrong )

It is hard to gauge Ballygunnar in Munster, historically it is weaker province when it comes to senior club hurling.

Eire Og were poor the last day.

The conditioning, speed and fitness levels of the Martins is phenomenal but Jack and Rory will need a 9 out of 10 performance to beat Ballygunnar.

Very much looking forward to Saturday. Martin's would be a rival of ours locally but I'd love to see them go all the way. It could do wonders for Wexford to see them at the top with the o Connors coming back into the county set up full of confidence in what I'd see as a winnable Leinster championship in 26. Best of luck to them!

Of course it would be a boost for Wexford hurling. It's weird how people look at this. Another poster stated it has no significancy on the county when Ballygunner steamed rolled over his county champions.

Tooreen into the All Ireland intermediate hurling final with a 1-28 to 1-17 win over Eire Og of Carrickmore today.

Really hope they can go one step further from the 2023 final and become the first Mayo hurling team to win an all Ireland title.

A lot of mistakes and bad shooting in Thurles but given the conditions and the intensity the game is being played at, it's understandable

Wouldn't say Ballygunner have faced a team with the intensity, athleticism, and physicality of the Martins' in a long time

Martins unlucky with that goal, Ballygunnar players leg clearly makes contact with the ball so it wasn't a throw. I hope that isn't the deciding moment in the game

The goal should not have been disallowed. How ever he has made it up with the three blatant push in the back on Patrick Fitzgerald and two frontal charges.
Should be a good second half. The scoring low but the hurling a level up.

Martin's a fine time. It looked like in the first half they were playing themselves out. A testament to Ballygunner going three down and taking over. Hardly a dying force with young guys like Fitzgerald and Hartley. Another Hartley and others in the wings. The goal would be have made it a closer game.
