I see where muster council are proposing that minor reverts to under 18 ( which makes perfect sense ) it be interesting to see if Galway county board let delegates vote on it usually they don't listen to clubs at all at least it's up for discussion at congress in Feb hopefully they do not kick it down road as has happened a lot maybe 2027 will see minor back where it should be at under 18 and maybe even play matches before senior it worked for half century Kickitout (Galway) - Posts: 1112 - 20/12/2025 12:52:02 2648979 Link 0 |

Any details from the game? Scorers? Who played well? Etc. Fair play to Milltown Gaa and nice to Liam Costello captain on the occasion. WonTon5 (Galway) - Posts: 95 - 20/12/2025 18:15:48 2649009 Link 1 |

Notable players missing are Paul Conroy, Rob Finnerty, John Maher, Seán Kelly, McDaid and D'Arcy... any one else? Is Kieran Molloy still involved? No sign of Naughton or the Killannin midfield duo.

Which McGrath impressed, Eamon or Shane? Shane seems to be in great form of late. Any good impact from the bench?

"Starting full forward line disappointing" that's an understatement if I ever heard one. From that starting 15, only Shane McGrath and Matthew Thompson are senior inter-county footballers. The rest are average club players at best. Joyce has to give these lads game time in fixtures that ultimately mean nothing, otherwise clubs would be complaining that their so-called superstars didn't get a run. Realistically, very few will change in the final 26 from last year, maybe two or three at most and possibly a new sub goalkeeper, as Eamonn McGrath is streets ahead of his club-mate between the posts.
