Love to hear everybody's thoughts on who wins and by how many.

Hard games to call.

Sure come on over to the dedicated Cavan thread for the chat!

Serious statement win from the defending champions Crosserlough last night. But overall I don't think there would be much wider/national interest in our senior football championship. Fairly poor standard all around, no truly top players plying their trade or any particularly interesting storylines. And it's safe to say - like every year - that the Ulster Senior Club Championship winners won't be coming from Breffni!

Nope. Cavan Gaels the last time we had a team win a game in Ulster Senior Club. They reached the final in 2017, so it's a stretch of eight years.

Aye not great I suppose.

Out of interest, I had a look and in that same timeframe Monaghan clubs have won eight Ulster Club games (so far, Scotstown still in it), with zero titles to show for it. Seven of those eight games won by Scotstown.

At county level in this timeframe for Monaghan that's translated into zero Ulster titles from one final appearance. The lowly Cavan club scene has yielded one Ulster title from two final appearances. I know which I'd rather have...
