Is it because the people who attond the rogby have greater clout in Government circles maybe?? Liiiiike, they roilly need to attond the gimes as we need to take photos of ourselves out fir the diy.

I think the broader GAA community would be better off following the Dublin template rather than complaining about their success. If money and resources is part of the success template the GAA leaderships needs to develop an earnings system that will equally benefit all. I suspect that there are other factors as well as money in the equation.

Watching from a distance but speaking to people from Dublin GAA clubs and media commentary it is amazing that GAA has broken into so many areas of Dublin but this is testament to the enormous work put in by so many club volunteers.
They really have set a blueprint for the rest of the country into how the games can be developed through massive participation levels and excellent coaching.
This did not happen by chance.
Clubs recruit from a very early age and are extremely proactive in recruitment. The rest of the country waits fir the child to come to the club while the club goes directly to the child and their family in Dublin.
Some years ago, other sports were in the process of dramatically increasing their numbers in the capital with GAA lagging far behind. That process has changed around.
GAA is very fashionable in Dublin !

I think his point is that on top of their funding, Dublin GAA and their clubs are very well run and professionally organised unlike some of the other county boards out there who if half the stories I hear are to be believed, I wouldnt put in charge of a chicken coop.
Would a change of management at these boards redress the balance? Perhaps not but it would be a very constructive start.

Obviously someone somewhere thinks that the virus spreads less easily among the rugby folk- has it anything to do with the shape of the ball. Maybe there are some scientists in one of the 'many groups' informing our government who have the stats/theory to back this up. Is there something very special about the airflow around a game in the RDS- it may have something to do with all the 'hot air' floating around? I won't go into all the sources of air at this stage! Maybe the virus is more readily spread in the bigger GAA pitches.

Or its a one off for the rugby and is the only trial game in July for rugby with those crowds. next rugby games with crowds in attendance will be in august when more people will be allowed attend games
rugby is near end of its season so very different to GAA which has a lot more teams still playing games right now.
