Nice to see Louth got funding for their new stadium in Dundalk. It did get me wondering if there have been any recent news on Pairce Tailteann. It's gone awful quiet.

It's truly embarrassing at this stage. What have the Pairc Tailteann redevelopment committee been doing for the last few years? Other counties have got the act together and advanced their stadiums.

The plans have been stripped and hollowed back. Delay after delay. I believe that incremental works and necessary remedial works could have been initiated so that some progress could be seen.

So unsurprising with how this project has panned out.

Yes its very frustrating, I think the issue is the drawdown of IIP funding which is done via the Dept of Justice, the process is incredibly slow, mind you I would have thought Croke Park would give the green light when it's guarantee income via a government department, wd have 3 government TDs in the county, I would have their phones hopping to get a push on
