Donnacha would definitely be worth a shot at midfield when he's fully fit. Great engine like you said and given the situation we're in, we've nothing to lose. Plays there for Blackhall aswell doesn't he?

Ya Tobin plays midfield for his club, wouldn't mind seeing Harnan there on sunday.

If new players like Finn and Douglas (I like his physicality, I really hope he can make an impression, but it's very early days) can stake a claim on the wings then Tobin will be free to play centrefield as well.

I heard he was having more surgery as well, all the best to Conor, hopefully it goes well for him.

Id love to know when will actual team be named, give the fans something to discuss, apart from all this speculation

All the best to Connor, sad news for Meath but even worse for him.

Htaem - Physicality is not much good if you are not able to keep up with the forward whom you are supposed to be marking! Armagh may be difficult to beat, however it certainly is not the strongest Armagh team I have seen in a number of years which should help

Ah but sure if you burst him become he gets past you then speed isn't an issue.

You will have very little bursting now, otherwise you will end up watching the match from the side line-maybe 20/30 years ago!

Royaldunne, for the Sunday games so far this year the team has been released on the Saturday around lunchtime. I assume it will be the same story this week.

If we're to show signs of improvement and push for promotion again this year then quite frankly yes we should be beating a weakened Armagh at home. But I genuinely have no expectations this season, we've been all over the place for probably 2 years now, so it's difficult to know what to expect before any game.

I agree I have no expectations either for the season as a whole, but my expectation is to win this game.I think we have better players than Armagh. Also in my opinion our squad is stronger this year and we haven't too many injuries.

Prediction time I think we will sneak it by 1 or 2. Is very hard to know as its the first real game of the year mcgeeney knows us like the back of his hand as this stage, he was at the Louth game. Home advantage and recent form should swing it.
