Well we beat Down there last year at the same stage. And we played well so no excuses. Any word on the fitness of Nevin O'Donnell for next Wednesday? Big strong centre-forward who could be a big asset. Brownred (Cavan) - Posts: 229 - 26/03/2014 13:13:45 1565254 Link 0 |

What odds where the game is, we'll play our neighbours anywhere. C'mon lads, 4 in a row well and truly on! Ned_Stormcrow (Cavan) - Posts: 1071 - 26/03/2014 13:50:00 1565285 Link 0 |
The venue was ment to be confirmed 2nite wed after a meeting of ulster council, and pending the result of Armagh/Antrim replay, Monaghan didn't want to play the game in Brewster park. Cavan didn't want Armagh. ladyluk (Cavan) - Posts: 50 - 26/03/2014 15:33:40 1565359 Link 0 |
So what happened?? Monaghan got their way?? Gaelsman (Cavan) - Posts: 12 - 26/03/2014 16:05:09 1565379 Link 0 |
Played the semi in Armagh last year and got the result, no reason why we cant do it again this year. Strong panel should get us over the line. magicwater123 (Cavan) - Posts: 12 - 26/03/2014 19:07:01 1565484 Link 0 |
Can someone answer the question of why the game was switched from Enniskillen to Armagh at Monaghan's request? Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 26/03/2014 19:26:34 1565490 Link 0 |

Why is everyone so worried about the game not being in Brewster? Armagh still a neutral venue and I would have confidence in our lads doing the business no matter where the game is... gaa365 (Cavan) - Posts: 18 - 26/03/2014 21:46:53 1565552 Link 0 |
Would someone please tell me when this game was ever fixed for Brewster Park! It wasn't. Everyone just assumed it would be there because we have been there so many times before. No Venue was ever confirmed until yesterday when Armagh was announced and it was always the obvious choice with Monaghan involved. And as a previous poster pointed out, what difference does it make. We got over Down in Armagh last year. I honesty don't think the focus should be on the venue or that it will decide this game. SS1 (Cavan) - Posts: 196 - 27/03/2014 08:36:45 1565570 Link 0 |
It doesn't make any difference, Enniskillen was the obvious venue for both counties as Fermanagh borders Cavan & Monaghan.. Not worried where the game is, just surprised they are dragging Cavan to Armagh, beat Down last year and hopefully anotherwin this year in Armagh. Glad the furore has died down over the venue. A storm in a tea cup if you ask me!!Firm believer the venue never bet a team. So lets get back to the game. Brownred (Cavan) - Posts: 229 - 27/03/2014 10:08:15 1565596 Link 0 |
Monagahn actually don't have that many from last years Minor team on the u21 panel this year, Conor McCarthy was one of the star of that team - not on the panel.. FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2874 - 27/03/2014 10:42:39 1565615 Link 0 |

I find it strange that . The game has been fixed for Armagh when Armagh themselves are playing at exactly the same time in Omagh. It's hardly ideal for the Armagh Gaels who would have to work at the game , helping out in whatever capacity that they can't watch their own team. Also there will probably no neutral supporters because any spectators who would have an interest would surely go the healy Park. s goldrick (Cavan) - Posts: 5520 - 01/04/2014 11:08:40 1568374 Link 0 |

Best of luck to Peter and all the lads and hopefully we can reach our 5th Ulster Final in a row. Fantastic record and one that so many other counties are envious of!! Brownred (Cavan) - Posts: 229 - 02/04/2014 10:52:17 1569072 Link 0 |
