Anyone wanna call this one?

Hill started slow against Newtown Blues (LH) in Drogheda, but drove home in second half - need to hit the ground running v Vincents.

Summerhill will have a great chance now.
Vinnies without their 2 best players.
Mossy Quinn will have to shoulder a lot of responsibility now for them next day out.
Will be interesting to see how Fennell does in the middle ..!

St. Vincents v Summerhill 24.11.2013 - Parnell Park 2.30

Pity this was not in Navan would have gotten a bigger crowd that in Parnell. Many Royal neutrals going to travel to the game and cheer us on?

Bet Brennan will be back. Vins are appealing it and apparently ref did not see incident.

Official Confirmation lads:-

St Vincent's will face Meath champions, Summerhill, on Sunday week in the AIB Leinster Club SFC semi-final without their two Dublin All-Ireland winning stars, Ger Brennan and Diarmuid Connolly, after it was decided not to appeal Brennan's red card of last weekend.

The St Vincent's and Dublin centre-back was sent off early in last weekend's victory over Westmeath's St Loman's and despite initial suggestions that his suspension would be challenged that is not now the case.

More stats:
> THROW-IN 2PM Sunday 24/11 Parnell Park ; Referee Eddie Kinsella [url=]http://meath.gaa.ie/fixtures.php
> Last time a Meath team won in Leinster was in 2002/3 Dunshaughlin, which is incentive in itself for the Hill billies.
> Vincent's won the All Ireland in 2007/8 - anyone know are there many of that team still in the running against Hill on Sunday?

Great price for the Hill. That's worth a flutter. Meath have some record in the Leinster junior championship. Was it 4 years in a row that they won it on the trot and two of them years they beat Louth clubs in the final. More Wee County heartbreak from their Royals neighbours.

Summerhill boss Declan McCabe insists the absence of Diarmuid Connolly and Ger Brennan from the St. Vincent's team won't make his side's task any easier.

"I've seen them recently and they have brought on five subs in every game and I can't see any difference in who starts and who doesn't start," McCabe told The Herald.

"I suspect, in the bigger Dublin clubs, there is huge competition to get onto the senior team. So to be honest, I don't believe they will suffer much from players being out."

Some waffle from McCabe there lads... Of course Vinnies will be weakened and substantially so..
I think Summerhill will have every chance now.
