I must be looking at a different Ballyhaise team to everyone else this year...

Heard Ballyahise had it tough and had to fight hard against a poor enough Drumlane team, no disrespect. Read that Eamonn Costello will be out for the year with a shoulder injury, he will be a massive loss for them. He was a good player all year playing the sweeper roll. Anyone at the game, if so what was Ballyahise like, are they still BIG contenders on your viewing for the championship?

If rumours are to be believed Ballyhaise are down a few players coming into this game. Cootehill have to be close this year given their form, especially after a good win against Drumalee.

Also heard Cootehill were missing 3 or 4 strong players against Drumalee with soccer or something. Heard young hesin and a few others are guna be playing soccer instead of gaa for the rest of the year. Don't know if its true or not, will be some miss for cootehill if so as he is the most influential player they have.

Good draw for Killeshandra so.

Killeshandra havent a hope of winning it. B'boro are every bit as good as them, we will see at the weekend for me but can't see them winning it. Wonder if an upset is on the cards with Swad now, with Ballyahise missing one of their main players. Also heard that Ballyhaise will be without Mc Crudden through injury. 2 of their best men all year missing.

yea i agree with swad man dont think killishndra are great. have been far from impressive so far. also i was at a game back in june when bailieboro bet them easily. final score was something like 2-16 1-9.. but we dont know whats going on behind closed doors maybe they will peak for the next few weeks. i expect them to get over the line against drung anyway.
i also have a feeling about swad.. been unnoticed so far and they are a experienced seasoned team with a few nice footballers. went through a torrid run in the 2nd half of the league but i think they are getting things right at the perfect time. dont write them off. shercock i feel will beat drumlane..have some classy young footballers and drumlane have lost way to many games to build a winning appetite required for a championship. hard to call bailieborough v cootehill.. think the winner of this game could well win it out.

Swadman, your right about Bailieboro but your putting the spotlight on your own club quite a bit by mentioning them on this forum as causing a possible upset at the weekend. Swad are without 4 big players, their full back whom they are missing all year, their centre back who supposedly done his cruciate in their first championship game, their county midfielder (who is regarded as one of the best prospects in the country never mind Cavan) and this years county minor midfielder, it does not matter if ballyhaise are missing 2 players, swad cant afford to take hits like that, no club can. To beat someone playing in a higher division without those players would be some upset. My money is on Drung beating Kileshandra, big field and drung a couple of very pacey players and galligan to dominate the middle of the park

Y wouldn't I put my club forward I believe we can beat Ballyahise. Big call about Drung beating Killeshandra, wouldn't be atall surprised. Wonder what sort of odds you would get on Drung, Swad and B'boro to win. Could easily happen. It's wide open. Asked this before but no1 responded, anyone got any young fella's to give a mention to to look out for in the championship?

Killeshandra & Coothill are the only 2 teams that can win the championship.

Ballyahise will beat Swad comfortably this weekend

Coothill will beat Bailieborough comfortably this weekend

Killeshandra will beat Drung comfortably this weekend

You will see

Cootehill will beat baileboro by a small margin.
Drumlane should get past shercock.
Ballyhaise should get past swad by a small margin in what I expect to be
A pretty affair..
Kilkeshrandra should beat drung on paper but lack of forwards might halt
That and they dont tend to do well at this stage of the competition so drung
By one in this one..
