Predictions For This Weekends JFC, IFC, SFC Games

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I have a funny feeling that 0'mahoneys will have a off day against summerhill and summerhill will win.its just a feeling and more than likely I am wrong. But if it does happen the sfc title will be going to seneschalstown.

Well only 2 out of 4 last night astones and Seneschalstown won, Slane caused a mild suprise and Blackhall a bigger one beatinga Dunboyne side I had picked as outright winner Local Derby's sure you cant be up to them.

The Saturday Senior Sizzler
Na Fianna v Moynalvey
This will be tight Na Fianna are free flowing at the moment 5-13 was a mad score v Simonstown but 1-15 stinks of crazy defending. The wont score as much but they wont concede as much either. Who ever wins plays Tones and I reckon that Tones have a great chance of making the Final but back to this one. Moynalvey are comimng good at the right time but Na Fianna have been really good all year both have some great young players but Moynalveys young lads are better. Some one said once you win nothing with Kids he was wrong Na Fiannas older boys are maybe better than Moynalveys. But to hell with I will go with the Youth and plum for Moynalvey by by couple.

The Senior Stinker
Nobber v Oldcastle
Dour Stuff. Farrell bound to play one good game this year and this could be it. Oldcastle better are round and might scrape home.

The Intermediate Starter
St Colmcille's v St Michael's
Mikes are punching above there weight the have some fine young players. Cilles are slipping along under the radar and the winner will face Athboy in a Semi. Easy path for the Cills to an Intermediate Final Cills by 6 or so

The Junior Jamboree's
Cortown v Drumconrath
Drums will not lack effort but Cortown are very clever the battled well against a high standard Ratoath side. Drums are not that standard so Cortown on a roll to win by more than a half Dozen
St Peter's, Dunboyne v Bective
Dunboyne are in danger of being out of everything in 6 days flat. Bective are not that good but Davy Cahill has done it before. A wild card here 3rd time lucky for Dunboyne narrow win.

The Bizzy Bees
Walterstown v Moynalty
I would love to see Moynalty win but Walterstown will be hard Moynalty have slipped a bit since there 2 final appearances and dont seem to have as many young lads as one would expect. They may use them soon and today could be the Day Moynalty narrowly
Boardsmill v Dunderry
Boardsmill will win

The Decent Dees
Seneschalstown v Clonard
Seneschalstown as a club are flying still involved in 3 Adult Championships and they will be still firing on all 3 fronts for another day at least

Great to see tones getting to the final coming good at the business end of the championship! More than likely be playing na Fianna they have a brilliant mixture of youth and experience and with Dan Queeney back from injury they will b even stronger! Moynalvey have the two o sullivans bk which is massive for them it will give them great confidence,it won't b as easy as everyone thinks bt Na Fiannas talent should see them over the line.

Re:Glenny.
Do you mind me asking how often you've actually seen St Colmcilles, St Michaels or Clan na nGael play this year to be making such comments as Colmcilles having an easy route to the final. I seem to remember you saying something similar about Dunderry before the last round. I've an awful feeing you are one of these couch potatoes who sits reading other peoples comments on here then uses them to make your own predictions. Probably haven't been at a match all year.

Give me a good close game I can attend this weekend. Don't matter senior inter or junior. Once its likely to be tight. Up home for weekend and want to catch at least one club game or more if time is right.
Any pointers?

I'd say moynalvey vs na fianne would be the game for you royal dunne, id imagine it will be a very close affair with two teams really wanting it. 6.45 tonight in pairc tailteann. Was a good game there last night, close affair there, would have been a good one for you to go to

Moynalvey V Na Fianna is the most intriguing fixture of the weekend.

Cortown beat drumconrath by 1 pt after extra time..dirty game i hear but they won't mind as a semi-final awaits them against either meath hill or drumbaragh.

Kells v Ratoath should be a great game, both sides have very good forwards. Just hope the rain stays away. Gonna back Kells as I called them to win Inter at the start of the year.

Great achievement by a young Michael's team tonight. I knew they had some very good young players but I didn't expect them to make an impact for another couple of years. Would also like to see JB O'Reilly get a run-out in the O'Byrne cup next year especially with Brian Meade likely to be out for a long time.

Some win for Dunboyne against Bective by a point! I was at the Cortown and Drumcondrath game which was an absolute thriller with some fantastic scores. Cortown deserved it on the basis that their forwards kicked far more from play than the Drums

Doubt there'll be a bigger shock than Dunboyne beating Bective this weekend although Michaels win over Cilles was a minor shock too
