If two teams finish on the same points total after final round of games then the result of the head to head between those two teams will decide who qualifies for knock-out stages or indeed relegation play-off. If 3 or more teams finish on the same points total then scoring difference will decide.

greenwood, can a team be put into the playoff on score difference? I taught that there was soon rule that a team cant be put out because of score difference

Frogd60, Seneschalstown's progress to the knockout stages is in there own hands. If they beat Nobber there is nothing Walterstown can do to knock them out. Moynalvey still have an outside chance to qualify as well so it's all to play for in Group A with 4 teams in the hunt for the 2 remaining Qtr Final spots

i know but if seneschalstown dnt beat nobber walterstown could have a good chance. but your right diego 4 teams still have a chance of qualifying. so there will be a few interesting games at the weekend.

Well 16 or 18 weeks since it started in April this weekend is do or die for the majority of clubs. A great programme over next 4 days to wet the appietite of most Football Followers. Once again the Great Glenny will following nigh on 2 weeks off taught casts a knowing eye on whats on offer starting with Thursday games;

IFC
Ballinlough v Castletown, Carnaross, 8pm, Ref Pat Clarke

Tight affair last year but not so this year Ballinlough have little to play for as Castletown keep their interest going for another few weeks. Castletown to F the begrudgers and win.

Ratoath v Ballinabrackey, Longwood, 8pm, Ref Richard Morris
Strange venue that is bound to suit Ballinabrackey and while Ratoath are a better squad this is the 1st real test since they beat Ballinlough. Ratoath will need to stand up and Bracks will hit hard. Have Ratoath got the bottle is the question. I am going for a minor shock Bracks to win but not by enough.

JFC
Curraha v Duleek/Bellewstown, Donore, 8pm, Ref Hugo Whoriskey
Duleek are poor and I wonder will the field after the slaughter of the last day, I think they will as they are proud club, they are very much wounded and the loser will be in relegation playoff. Curraha let me down the last day and while I pick them to win here they may let me down again.

Dunsany v Kilmainham, Brews Hill, 8pm, Ref Jason Smyth
Kilmainham got wake up call last Saturday and will have done a lot of thinking this week, Dunsany have been shorn of a lot of players for one reason or another but should they win they can got through. Kilmainham are sure enough of top spot even if they lose but they should get back on track.

Drumconrath v Moylagh, Moynalty, 8pm, Ref Joey Curley
Moylagh have a chance to make quarters, if Kilmainham win a draw may do Drumconrath if Kilmainham win If Dunsany & Moylagh win Moylagh go out. Drumconrath are rattled and there must be doubts but they may squeeze home in tough hard battle.

Kilmainhamwood v Summerhill, Simonstown, 8pm, Ref Tom Lorton
Summerhill and Meath Hill are in a Turkey shoot out whoever wins by the most will get through. K wood are better than Simonstown but neither has anything to play for Kwood will save lads for Junior D so will be well bet but Summerhill wont quailify

Meath Hill v Simonstown, Carlanstown, 8pm, Ref Gerry O'Brien
Meath Hill to win by 15/20 points and grab the second spot in this group.

Think your wrong about Ratoath Glenny they will have to much fire power for Bracks to handle
Ratoath by 5+

Ratoath have great fire power but the bracks have the best defense in the group so it should be an interesting battle,14 weeks since a championship match for ratoath could be a problem.this will be a dog fight and could go either way,i dont think ratoath have beaten the bracks in the last 4 meetings at both league and championship so that will be in the back of Eamon barrys head, bracks have nothing to lose by going for it so im expecting an out and out battle and it will depend on how well ratoath will handle the pressure, they didnt handle it too well last year in junior final when the donaghmore/ashbourne 2nd team should have won it.All the pressure is on Ratoath tonight and we will see just how good they really say they are.

all of this may be true but none of the past means anything to the current Ratoath team as the have no history of been beaten by Bracks nor has eamonn barry totally new team totally new manager and Ratoath won junior final didnt lose thats all that matters

Well good start again for the Great Glenny 6 out of 7 last night as my outside bet Bracks had not enough to topple Ratoath. I reckon that could have been Ratoath's biggest hurdle jumped on their way to Senior
Now for the mouth watering Friday games
SFC
Skryne v Oldcastle, Simonstown, 8pm, Ref Gerry McGivney.
No contest Skryne will win

Donaghmore/Ashbourne v Summerhill, Pairc Tailteann, 8pm,
Tight one Donaghmore by a couple

St Patrick's v Rathkenny, Ashbourne, 8pm, Ref Padraic Coyle
Brian Meade big loss Pats to get a win and make the Quarters
IFC
Clann na nGael v Dunderry, Cortown, 8pm, Ref TBC
Dunderry should be best but nothing easy here. Dunderry fell at last hurdle but should have enough here

St Michael's v Carnaross, Meath Hill, 8pm, Ref Sean Kerley
Michaels have more to play for and should scrape home

St Ultan's v Syddan, Carlanstown, 8pm, Ref John O'Byrne
Hard call neither up to much Ultans might spring a surprise

JFC 'B'
Moynalvey v St Patrick's, Ashbourne, 6.30pm, Ref Joe Synott
Moynalvey easy enough
JFC 'D' quarter-final
Seneschalstown v Dunshaughlin, Brews Hill, 8pm, Ref Martin Ennis -
Seneschalstown to progress

very good tipping glenny, very unlucky not to get them them all correct as the bracks were a little unlucky and got a dreadful start but i think that will will do ratoath the world of good and bring them on for the knockout stages.
