Top three teams in groups A,B and C qualify. The teams that finish third in B and C play each other in preliminary quarter final. Winner of that game play team that finished first in group A in proper quarter final. Stillsenior (Meath) - Posts: 125 - 17/04/2013 12:45:06 1369117 Link 0 |

Is there an extra team in group A or are they just getting a lucky draw and an easier passage to the quaters? Galvin11 (Meath) - Posts: 5 - 17/04/2013 12:53:49 1369133 Link 0 |
I heard Ashbourne's main players from the junior final last year were involved in the first round of the senior championship ruling them out of intermediate this year! Might see Ashbourne being relegated this year tic_for_tac (Meath) - Posts: 151 - 17/04/2013 13:24:04 1369159 Link 0 |

Thanks for that Greenwood, I doubt Ashbourne will be releigated but won't be near winning the Intermediate championship. I reckon Ballinabracky will win it, strong squad with damien carroll and danny quinn to lead them. UpAndComing (Meath) - Posts: 43 - 17/04/2013 13:40:16 1369179 Link 0 |

tic for tac ... who was used from donaghmore ashbournes junior team? interesting to know this as they did have a strong junior team last year royalhalfback (Meath) - Posts: 92 - 17/04/2013 18:21:53 1369353 Link 0 |
From comparing Don/Ash's JFC final team to the team that played against St. Pat's, it looks like three of the players from last years Junior team played on Saturday: Rory O'Connor, Tony Morgan and Matthew Devine. Devine will be a huge loss for the Intermediate team as he was their scorer in chief in the Junior championship (scored 20 points in the knockout stages alone). Yeah. I didn't notice anything but Brendan Cummins was on the radio when I got into the car and said it was a hamstring injury but could have been a precaution. jackhackett (Meath) - Posts: 773 - 20/04/2013 13:22:08 1370663 Link 0 |
