Fantastic Friday Senior; Wolfe Tones v Na Fianna;
This should be a close call Na Fianna won the Round Robin game but Tones will be better lined up for this one John Lyons is a good coach not sure about Darren Fay has to earn his stripes yet. Barret will take watching and this may allow McDonagh to do damage. Lewis is a real player as is Jamie Queeny Foley, Farrelly and the Crosgraves, Dan Queeny is due a good game. The Tones will look to the Wards McLaughlins Fox may cause some problems and Sheppard has improved, Harrington will have a tough task as the Enfield boys run at him but Harro is a good player it will be tight but Na Fianna are on a roll and nothing to lose and the roll may continue.
Junior B; Seneschalstown v Moynalty
This also will be tight Moynalty are not as good as a few years ago but are beginning to interduce their young players, they may bring more of them on if they want to move up a grade, I have favoured Seneschalstown for a while now but things are falling apart for them lately and by Saturday morning the 3 teams they had going will be down to one. Moynalty by a few.
Relegation; Don/Ash v St Patricks ; Donaghmore Handy enough
Junior C
OMahonys v Blackhall
This could be close Mark Ferris will be a big player and will put it up to Navan but Pairc Tailteann will suit OMahonys and they will edge home.
Slimmer than usual Saturday
Senior Relegation
Dunshaughlin v Oldcastle; Dunshaughlin should not be in this position but they are safe, Oldcastle will fight like Hell to stay up they may lose this game narrowly enough and still stay up Dunshaughlin by a few.
Junior D Final
Kilmainhamwoods craft v Seneschalstown youth, Seneschalstown will really try to get something from a season that promised so much and this could be all that is left Kwood are in big trouble in the bigger picture and a win here will not really help them in the long run but they wont be thinking that way. They have the ability to win this even though Seneschalstown maybe a better side Kwood may sneak it

Na Fianna were very impressive again last night. Only one defeat in two years of championship football, they are the form team going into the final and will be hard to beat in three weeks time. Looking forward to Sunday's semi, I find it hard to pick a winner. Summerhill are favourites and shade it if you compare the two teams on paper. Rathkenny have had a great year especially considering the injuries suffered. Any team would struggle without Brian Meade who was one of the best performers in the SFC up to his injury yet they still cleaned out Seneschelstown in midfield. Summerhill have the better, more skilfull players but Rathkenny have that dogedness and never-say-die attitude. Too close to call!

Glenny you're making your predictions after the game is over now. No surprise you got the three of them right so!

No not at all they where in in time
Super Sunday
Senior; Summerhill v Rathkenny
Word from the Rathkenny camp seems they have more injuries as if the loss of Brian Meade was not enough. With 3 minors up front who carry no baggage Rathkenny will rattle into Summerhill and their belief will stand to them. Donal Keoghan will marshal the defence well but Summerhill are on a great roll and are favourites to win the Keegan Cup now. Most people in Meath would love to see a novel Rathkenny v Na Fianna Final but Na Fianna v Summerhill also brings its attractions. I will go for the latter Summerhill by 4 or so.
Intermediate
Clan na gael v St Michaels
No one would picked this as a Semi final, Michaels have a lot of minors too and they are good lads. Centre back Philip Rogers is a doubt Athboy have some young players Oran Fitzpatrick will be close to the Meath team in 2014. Michaels are dark horses but will be brighter coloured ones this eve.
Gael Colmcille v Castletown
Castletown are here again hard to beat and at time hard to watch but they have decent forwads in Ross, Tommy Smyth, Finney and James Finnerty who for some reason did not play last day. Midfield in middleing and their centre back could be exposed, Kenny Smith had a great game v Dunderry, Full back Gerry Farrelly is as good a footballer that is in North Meath and Joey Carry will mark tight. Kells rely on OHanlon a lot but Mattimoe is not back either, Arkins will do well around the middle but maybe not well enough as Carry will hold OHanlon somewhat Castletown to win.
Junior
Drumbaragh v Cortown
Tie of the day, Drumbaragh Full back out and will be a big loss, Cortown are hampered by suspensions and injuries after a tough battle with Drumconrath. Garry Coyne and Glen Loughran will push them on and they have a few young lads but Drumbaragh have a little more and will edge a tight game.
Kilmainham v Dunboyne
Have Dunboyne 2 Junior A lads to mark Newman maybe but this will realse someone else to score a bit. Newman is the best forward in Meath and with 2-5 and 3-3 in recent games can win a game on his own. He will need help today if Kilmainham are to win. I have a feeling Dunboyne might spring a surprise.
Boardsmill v St Marys
Marys desperately want to get to a Final and win it. Their squad is beginning to age and they have very few teenagers. Boardsmill have a few good young lads and with Hurling over they will win.

Rathkenny never got going yesterday, the long ball worked a few times but they tried to hand pass it up the field every time. What a cracker of a goal from donal curtis.Already looking forward to a good final on the 20th.Will the 3 finals be on that day or will it be just the senior and inter?

Fair play to the Co. Board fixing the Junior and Intermediate Finals for the one day. It's a great decision considering 3 of the teams involved are from the 1 parish.
