wrong again glenny Ratoath v Castletown nervous start for ratoath new to IFC some sloppy defending flattered castletown on scoreboard ratoath too good in this contest kicked alot of wides still won going away couple of good players on castletown team but most only wanted to play intimidation game and a few lucky to stay on the pitch, this win will settle Ratoath and hopfully they will have gained valuable experience from this. head4dblackspot (Meath) - Posts: 513 - 14/04/2013 16:43:16 1367421 Link 0 |
Not really a surprise ratoath beating castletown. Castletown team very slow knew ratoath would have too much pace for them johnsee (Meath) - Posts: 389 - 14/04/2013 21:21:57 1367652 Link 0 |
Curragha could only manage a draw against possibly Skryne's worst junior team in there history. That does not bode well for them for the rest of the group games especially with games against the big teams like bective and drumbaragh. I would suspect they will be absolutely destroyed against both those teams. It's amazing how far back they have gone since 2011 when they reached the championship semi final. Bad loss for Duleek/Bellewstown , still expect them to have a good run to survive when the soccer season ends .... M.Simoncelli (Meath) - Posts: 126 - 14/04/2013 21:55:48 1367685 Link 0 |

Fair play to Na Fianna beating Dunboyne was a good match I was surprised with the winners the 2 goals were got at the right time in particular Queeneys, id expect them to beat BlackHall next which will set them up nicely but u wouldnt know what could happen in this championship. Really not surprised to see Na Fianna do well.. they are as good as the majority of senior teams and the best team to come up from intermediate in a few years anyway meathfan1 (Meath) - Posts: 231 - 16/04/2013 14:00:04 1368652 Link 0 |

ratoath now 4-1 favourites for intermediate. surely a bit of an overreaction after beating an average castletown team? brownstownlad (Meath) - Posts: 88 - 16/04/2013 19:20:32 1368900 Link 0 |
St. Colmcilles have also gone from 12/1 to 5/1, guesswork. uptheross (Meath) - Posts: 78 - 16/04/2013 20:17:01 1368925 Link 0 |
4 -1 on Ratoath is a ridiculous price, there will be much harder challenges to come, Castletown who didnt even play that well were still in with a shout until the end , and missed a easy goal chance in the first half by blasting it over the bar lagoreX (Meath) - Posts: 223 - 17/04/2013 10:16:48 1369027 Link 0 |
Everybody's talking about Ratoath but what about Don/Ash? Ratoath only scraped over the line in last years Junior final, don't see how PP could have Ratoath at 4/1 yet Don/Ash at 14/1. The Intermediate grade is, as ever, wide open, impossible to pick a winner at this stage. shldrs2thewheel (Meath) - Posts: 200 - 17/04/2013 11:38:46 1369070 Link 0 |
Can anyone tell me how the qualification for the senior championship group stages works? Do 3 teams come out of each group of do 2 come out if 1 group to make up 8 teams for the quarter finals? UpAndComing (Meath) - Posts: 43 - 17/04/2013 12:16:13 1369093 Link 0 |
