With the championship nearly over I am wondering what your starting team would be for the Ulster SFC next year.

pmus that is complete bull. We need to be looking at the setup with all the changes to winter training. It is important to have a settled squad heading in the championship. In recent years we have suffered because all the players who did winter training got dropped from the squad.

Well it should be in or around the same as this year to be honest. No point doing the old Cavan thing of dropping the entire panel and thinking new players will turn us into a force to be reckoned with. The grass isn't always greener.

Seanorinn has lists and lists of players apparently but it'd be "imprudent" for him to name a team.

id say come 2013 that team the haise named will be 90% correct at least maybe a few little tweaks, like jason mc loughlin and terrys favourite kevin tierney might feature.
And if i hear any more about sean slobbering on about his secret lists! just start the lawnmower will ya

dhaise a lot have been tried and tested but yes I expect you are more than 90% correct these will be the players going forward.
millhouse you better go out and start the lawmower however with the weather as it is you might well sink ?? by the time you get to your neck you will be surely slobbering
Quality players have been mentioned but can anyone see outside the circle of players the media talk about week on week (I pride myself on my ability to look beyond this circle when watching individual players)

If you pride yourself Sean on looking outside the circle, how about you enlighten us. Otherwise, I don't see why you are commenting on other selections if you won't give your own.

surprised Eddie rielly is in nobody's team.playing great stuff at the minute.
he would add another dimension to the forward line.and cause opponents lots of worry.
i agree with Sean.we need some experience with these young lads. so i would stick with the likes of mucutcheon and podge rielly.
the young lads need experience in the dressing room to calm them down on match day.

If a player or players have been tried the door should not be shut on them returning.
Take Ciarn Galligan forf instance, managers persisted in using him in midfield he failed to perform in that position now as he enjoys being involved in the county set up is there another position he could be tried in I for one believe if the right person took this man on board and got his timing right he would be an asset to our team. Dermot Sheridan I don't believe is a full back but again another person who wants to be part of our set up. I know he has not been playing well but he has to be considered going forward. Eddie O'Reilly has to be considered as well he will sweat blood for his jersey and is as honest a worker you will get. Now Philip the gunner Brady I know he has not being playing very well but as a corner forward you just cannot take your eye of him. Unfortunately Paul the gunner has other commitments, there are many other players out there that can be blended into the set up this way you get youth strength and mature players, just my opinion. I know you all want youth but it's not going to work you must mix as stated. Take Anthony Gaynor if the right person spoke with Anthony he also would be an asset to any team.

What about Donal Thomas from Killygarry, would he be good enough for county level?

I have watched him several times and I have to say the number of simple chances he has missed in front of goal I am not sure if he can handle the pressure. Time will tell I am sure for he has another chance against Mullahorn.

I agree with Thomas, think he is deservant of a call-up should try him for McKenna Cup anyway nothing to lose, and see whether he is up to this level or not.

Is he not one of those lads who got chances before in Mckenna cup and didn't take it?
