Connolly's red opens up the space and Dublin play Donegal at their own game in the last 10 minutes. Can't remember the last time I was as entertained as much by football as that second half.

Thanks be to the lord that the worst most awful style of play is dead and buried. Ironic that we only played when we went down to 14, but my god even Donegal couldn't love that style of crap. This stuff needs to be utterly trashed, I hope the media get the knifes out and carve up the morans that invented responsible for this, I have to say the rules facillitate this. hard luck donegal great progress from last years exit in cross ,,,,Now to the facts its good that the team that wanted to play football won because the tactic that domegal deployed would have destroyed kerry and would have been aped by many much to the detriment of gaa promotion.......on a side note i was appalled by the donegal management and runners and players to get men sent off

That was an embarrassment, Donegal's tactics and play acting were a disgrace...delighted the Dubs won.

Hopefully I never have to look at Donegal play again, I've seen them twice in the flesh this year and will be writing to their county board looking for my money back.

Thanks the Lord the Dubs won. Donegal although a new face in the latter stages this last few years were far from a breath of fresh air, they were like a heavy weight on the Football championship. Football reigns supreme and it has the making of a cracking final.

Also little mention of Mark McHugh cheating? Came in to the Dublin player harassing him and got pushed in the chest and goes down clutching his face. Disgraceful, glad to see the Dubs power on for that alone.

If the style of football donegal insist on playing and it is quite obvious now it is the only style they can play, got them to an all ireland final then the futre of gaelic football would of been very bleak indeed. Definitely football was a winner today. McGuinness had the chance to drive his players on and win that match but the toxic negativity that he has instiiled into donegal football was too much to overcome. It is going to take one hell of a final to wipe the memory of that from the minds of people who expect some level of entertainment from their football. I think Spillane, Brolly and O Rourke were spot on in their analysis and their sleighting of eveything donegal tried to do today, especially the reaction of the man that went down after being pushed by connolly.
