I won't pretend to have all the stats but I'm sure he must have had more than 48 championship matches. I do know he had more than one drawn championship game. Offhand I can think of three - against Galway (2012), Dublin (2013) and Tipperary (2014) - and there may be more. I'm also sure that he lost more than five championship games. Tipp had three wins (2010, 2016 and 2019 finals), Galway had at least two wins (maybe more) while he has also tasted championship defeats against Dublin, Wexford, Waterford (twice), Limerick and Cork.
